Answer:

It would take 6 more balls for a century

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. of 4s = x

Let the no. of 1s = 3x

Let the no. of 6s = 1 + x

According to the question:-

4(x) + 3x + 6(1 + x) = 84

=> 13x + 6  = 84

=> 13x = 78

=> x = 6

So,

Total balls = x + 3x + 1 + x = 5x + 1 = 31 balls

So,

In 31 balls the batsman scored 84

In 16 score how many will be the balls ???

so,

Let the balls at 16 = y

31*16 = y *84

31*16/84 = y

31*4/21 = y

124/21 = y

5.9 = y

so,

It would take 6 more balls for a century
