Number of runs scored by a batsman - 110

Number of boundaries hit = 3

Number of runs scored in boundaries = 3 x 14 = 12 runs

Number of sixes hit = 8

Number of runs scored in sixes = 8 x 6 = 48 runs

Total number of runs scored in boundaries and sixes is 12 + 48 = 60 runs

Now, to find number of runs scored by a batsman in singles we must subtract runs scored in 4’s and 6’s from total runs scored.

Runs made by running = 110 (total runs) - 60 (Runs scored in 4’s & 6’s)

Runs made by running = 50 runs

Now, the percentage of runs scored by running is calculated.

Percentage of runs scored by running = Number of runs made by running is divided by total number of runs scored in the innings and then multiplied by 100

= 50 / 110 * 100 (By BODMAS)

= 0.45 * 100

= 45%

The percentage of runs made by the batsman by running between the wickets is 45%
