Step-by-step explanation:

Given

A bathroom is in the form of cuboid of dimensions 3 metre , 3 metre , 6 metre how many square tiles are required to fix all the faces if the side of  the tile is 5 cm.

We know that surface area of a cuboid has 2 square and 4 rectangles.

So surface area will be 2 x l^2 + 4 (l x b)

                             = 2 x 3^2 + 4 (6 x 3)

                            =  2 x 9 + 4 x 18

                            = 18 + 72

                            = 90 sq m

Now given side of a tile is 5 cm = 0.05 m

So area of square tile = l^2

                              = (0.05)^2

                                            = 0.0025 sq m.

Now number of tiles = surface area of cuboid / area of one tile

                                 = 90 / 0.0025

                               = 36,000 tiles.

Therefore number of tiles required to fix will be 36,000.
