A batman hits a cricket ball, which then rolls on a level ground.After covering a short distance,the ball comes to rest.The ball slows down to stop because:
(a) the batman did not hit the ball hard
(b). velocity of ball is proportional to force acting on it
(c). there is force on the ball opposing its motion
(d).there is no unbalanced force on the ball and hence it comes to rest​
