u = 54 ×5/18 = 15m/s

u & v are at 90° hence Resultant velocity ∆v = √(u^2+v^2)

but u = v = 15m/s

∆v = √(225+225) = 21.21m/s

now, impulse = ∆P = m∆v

∆P = 21.21 × 0.15 = 3.18Ns
