A batsman deflects a ball by an angle of 60° without changing its initial speed which is equal to 64 km/h. What is the impulse imparted to the ball ? (Mass of the ball is 0.25 kg.)​

Impulse is given by change in momentum

impulse =m{ucos60-(-ucos60)}

             =0.25*(2*ucos60)

             =0.25*(2*17.77*0.5)

             =4.44kgm/s
