let the average run per innings in first 10 innings be x.
then total runs in 10 innings =10x
A.T.Q.
(10x+100)÷11=x+5
> 10x+ 100= 11x+55
> 11x-10x=100-55
> x=45
it implies that
average of 10 innings is45
and,
àverage of 11 innings is 50
=runs scored in 11 innings =11×50=550
now,
after 12 innings total runs scored by batsman is 550+62=612runs
thus required average =612÷12
