Let his average score upto 10 innings be x runs.

So the total score after 10 innings = 10x runs.

Score in 11th innings = 68 runs.

Total after 11th innings = 10x+68 runs.

Average after 11 innings = (10x+68)/11

= x+2 (given) .

So 11 × (x+2)= 10x + 68

x = 46

Average score after 11th innings = x+2 = 48 runs
