let 20 matches average = y run

》21st inning made run= 102

》and average increased 2

now

》 x/20 = y

》x = 20y........(1)

acourding to quetion:-

》(x+102)/21 = y+2

》x+102 = 21y + 42

》x-21y = 42-102

》x -21y= -60..........(2)

put x = 20y in equation (2)

》20y-21y = -60

》-y= -60

》y= 60

put y's value in eq(1)

》x = 20×60

》(x= 1200) ans

》total runs in 20matches is 1200 .
