A batsman scored 35 runs fewer in his second innings than in his first innings his total score in the two innings of the test match was 207 find the score in each of the two innings

let first innings =X
then second innings runs=X-35
sum of innings =207 (given)
so
X+X-35=207
2X=207+35
2X=242
X=242÷2
=121
first innings score =121 runs
second innings sore =121-35=86 runs

First innings score is 35more than second innings...so (x+35) +x =207 X=86 First innings score is 121 Second innings one is 86
