Answer:

1.0 × 10⁵ sec

Explanation:

Given :

Charge ( q ) = 800 C

Current ( I ) = 8.0 mA

We have find time ( t )

We know formula

i.e. Current = Charge / time

OR    I = q / t

Putting the value here we get

8.0 mA = 800 / t

We know the 1 mA = 10⁻³ A

t = 800 / 8.0 × 10⁻³ sec

t = 100 × 10³ sec

t = 1.0 × 10⁵ sec

Thus we get answer 1.0 × 10⁵ sec .

More to know :

Current is nothing but flow of electrons .

To find current we have formula :

I = q / t

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer:-}}}}

In the 1.0 × 10⁵ seconds the cell will be discharged completely.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation:-}}}}

Given that :

Charge (q) = 800 C

Current (I) = 8.0 mA

To Find :

Time in which the cell will be discharged completely.

Solution :

We know that :

\boxed{\sf Current(I)= \dfrac{Charge(q)}{Time(t)}}

Plug the given values in equation :

After putting the values we will get :

\longrightarrow\sf 8.0 mA = \dfrac{800}{Time(t)}

We also know that :

\boxed{\sf 1 mA = 10^-^3A }

So,

\longrightarrow\sft \dfrac{800}{8.0}\times10^-^3sec\\\longrightarrow\sft 100\times10^3 sec\\\longrightarrow\sft 1.0 \times10^5 sec\\

Hence,

In the 1.0 × 10⁵ seconds the cell will be discharged completely.

Extra Information :

Battery :

A series of two or more electric cells arranged to produce a current or Voltage. A battery consists of an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte.

Voltage :

A force measured in volts called Voltage.

Current :

The flow of electricity called Current.

Formula :

\boxed{\sf Current(I)= \dfrac{Charge(q)}{Time(t)}}
