In a dry cell the upper part of the cell is positive side and the lower part is negative side. If one dry cell is connected by wires and then connected to a bulb then the bulb will lighten up. When we connect 3 dry cells instead of one the bulb will lighten up with more brightness. When two or more cells are joined together , the combination is called a battery.
"The free electrons in a cell flows from negative terminal to the positive terminal. Then, the current must flow in the opposite direction. The current or electron can flow when there are opposite terminal. When multiple batteries are connected the same point should be kept in mind.
