A battery of 6 volt having negligable resistance is connected across the parallel combination of two resistors 6 ohm and 12 ohm.Find the current in the circuit?​

 6V. Req = 1/R1 + 1 /R2 = 1/4 + 1/6 = 5/12 = 12/5 ohm = 2.4 ohm. According to ohm's law ,. V = IR. I = V/R. I = 6/2.4. I = 2.5 A.
