Given :

Potential Difference (V) = 6 V

Resistance (R) = 15 ohm

To Find :

The current flowing through the circuit.

Solution :

According to Ohm's Law, Current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference between its two ends.

       Current (I)  ∝ Potential (V)

⇒                V = IR

⇒                I  = \frac{V}{R}

where, V = potential difference; I = Current; R = resistance

∴ The current flowing through the circuit (I) = \frac{V}{R}

                                                                        = \frac{6}{15}

                                                                        = 0.4 A

Hence, The current flowing through the circuit is 0.4 A

Option (C) 0.4 A is correct.
