When we connect in series,
Pottential difference wiil be different across each resistor
And current will be equal across each resistor
So,
Total current in the circuit = current flowing throw each resistor
Total current in the circuit = voltage / resistance
I = V/R
Total resistance = 0.2 + 0.3 + 0.4 + 0.5 + 12 = 13.4
Voltage = 9V
Current = 9/13.4 = 0.67
