To Find : the maximum current that can be drawn from the battery is:

1. 10 A

2. 20 A

3. 30 A

4. 45 A​

Solution:

e.m.f. of 6V

internal resistance of the battery is 0.2 ohm,

R int = internal resistance

R ext = external resistance / load

maximum current that can be drawn from the battery  = V/Rint    

when Rext = 0

= 6/0.2

= 30 A

Additional Info :

Current drawn for maximum power

when Rext  = Rint

=> I  = 6/(0.2 + 0.2)  = 15A
