★ Given:-

• emf = 10 v
• r = 3 ohm
• I = 0.5 A

★ To Find:-

• Resistance
• Terminal Voltage

★ Calculation:-

• e.m.f = I (R+r)

By substituting the values,

10 = 0.5 (R+3)

10 = 0.5R + 1.5

R = 20 - 3

==> R = 17 ohm

We have, V = I R

V = 0.5 x 17

==> V = 8.5v
