a battery sets up an electric field of 25 N/C inside a uniform wire of length 2m and a resistance of 5 ohm . find current through the wire.

R= 5 ohms
L= 2m
E= 25 N/C

using ohms law V=IR

I =V/R

V=ed
V= 25×2= 50V

since L is 2m so d=2 because electrons have to cover that distance.

I=50/5
=10A
