fulled part of beaker =4/7
required water to full = 12 L. (given)
a/q
required part = 1 - 4/7 = 3/7
3/7part of beaker = 12 L.
then,
capacity of breaker = 12 L. in to 7/3
= 28 L.

Answer: The capacity of the beaker is 28 liters.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Part of a beaker is filled with water = \dfrac{4}{7}

Remaining part of a beaker is empty = \dfrac{3}{7}

Quantity of water is needed to fill the beaker to its brim = 12 liters

Let x liters be the capacity of the beaker.

According to question,

\dfrac{3}{7}\times x=12\\\\x=\dfrac{7}{3}\times 12\\\\x=7\times 4\\\\x=28\ liters

Hence, the capacity of the beaker is 28 liters.
