A beaker of radius 10 cm is filled with water. Calculate the force of surface tension on any diametric

line on its surface. Surface tension of water is 0.075 N /m

Answer:

L = 2 × 10 = 20 cm = 0.2 m

T = 0.075 N/m

We have,

∴F = TL = 0.075 × 0.2 = 0.015
