Answer:

36 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of cuboidal beam = 9m

Breadth of cuboidal beam = 40 cm or 0.4 m            [∵ 1 cm = 1/100 m]

Height of cuboidal beam = 20 cm   or 0.2 m             [∵ 1 cm = 1/100 m]

∵ Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

Volume of cuboidal beam = 9m × 0.4m × 0.2m

                                            = 0.72 m³

Given that 1 m³ weigh = 50 kg

∴ Weight of 0.72 m³ = 0.72 × 50

                                 = 36 kg

Hence weight of given cuboidal iron beam = 36 kg

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

An iron beam is

LONG= 9m

Wide = 40 cm

High= 20 cm

Volume = 900X40X 20cm= 7200 m

7200X50=360000 = 3600m = 36 Kg
