According to the visible light spectrum, wavelength from 495 to 570 is equals to the color of green. Since the given wavelength is 506, thus, the color of light is green.

Hi mate

You can find the frequency from:

c=lambda *na

where:

lambda =506x10^-9m (It is the wavelength;)

c=3xx10^8m/s (It is the speed of light in vacuum.)

So:

na = c/lambda=(3xx10^8)/(506xx10^-9)=5.9xx10^14Hz

It should be Cyan and 506 nm.

Thanks for asking...
