sphere. Find the position of the image if the
refractive index of glass is 1.5 and the radius of
the sphere is 10 cm.

We will have single surface refractions successively at the four surfaces S1,S2,S3, and S4. Do not forget to shift origin to the vertex of respective surface.

Refractive at first surface S1: Light travels from air to glass.

 \frac{1.5}{v1}  -  \frac{1}{ \infty }  =  \frac{1 - 1.5}{ + 10}

v1=30 cm -

First image is object for the refraction at second surface.

For refraction at surface S2: Light travels from glass to air :- for more , Check the attachment :)
