A beautiful day

is everyone who writes songs or poetry ultimately desires to give voice to that is truly worth saying, in a way that hasn’t been said before. the poet wallace stephens called power and sense of wonder “the voice that is great us” ( a line from poem “evening without angels” i incorporated into the bridge of the song). song also gives a nod to another famous poet, william wordsworth, who frequently found god in nature and wrote about the beauty of natural surroundings in england’s lake district.
