the lesson the beggar has a beautiful message it is that one can make one's life a happy journey through work only it is true that work is very important in making one's life a happy journey we must not shy for doing any work as against its begging takes one to no where lushkoff in the beggar is a beggar and has a tendency to live off on others charity Sergei pities him but he offers work to him it is Olga who teach as him a great moral lesson through helping him but finally it is him only who become a self dependent through work the beggar that is lushkoff starts working as a notary and lives and dignified life Sergei is amazed to know how lushkoff become so however it is Sergei who makes him so by helping him get the work of a notary.
