At 9 : 20 AM, They ring together again.

A bell rings every 25 minutes while another bell rings every 40 minutes. If the bell rang together at 6 AM.

At what time they ring together again ?

Here, A bell rings every 25 minutes while another bell rings every 40 minutes. so there must a common time both the bells ring together, this time is LCM of 25 min and 40 min.

i.e., LCM of {25 , 40} = 200

If the Bells ring together at 6 AM, then they will ring once again at 6AM + 200 minutes.

= 6 : 00 AM + 3 hrs + 20 minutes

= 9 : 20 AM

Therefore At 9 : 20 AM, They ring together again.
