Answer:

C.P. of the bicycle = Rs. 240

SP of the bicycle. = Rs. 300

Profit = S.P - C.P

= 300 - 240

= Rs.60

And now Profit % = (Profit / C.P) × 100 %

= ( 60 / 240 ) × 100 %

= 25 % Ans.

Cost price of the bicycle = Rs 240

Selling price of the bicycle = Rs 300

Profit = 300-240 = Rs 60

Profit percentage =

(60/240)×100

= 100/4 = 25%

Hence, the profit percentage is 25%
