Given

  • Speed = 10 m/s
  • Radius = 30 cm

To Find

  • Angular Speed

Solution

V = r × ω

● We have to first convert the radius of the tyre from cm to m. Then simple substitution in the formula and in rearranging the terms we would get our Answer!!

Converting Units :

  • Radius = 30 cm
  • Radius = 30/100
  • Radius = 0.3 m

Angular Speed :

→ v = r × ω

→ 10 = 0.3 × ω

→ 10/0.3 = ω

ω = 3.33 rad/s

∴ The angular Speed of the tyre is 3.33 rad/s
