Given: speed for 1st 10 min(600 sec): 5 km/hr = 1.38 m/s

Distance covered in 10 min (600 sec) = speed * time

                                                              = 1.38 * 600

                                                              =  828 m

Now,

acceleration(a) = -1 m/s² , final velocity(v) = 0 m/s, initial velocity(u) = 1.38 m/s

2*a*d  = v²- u²

2 * (-1) *d = 0 - (1.38)²

-2d = -1.904

-d = -0.95

d = 0.95 m

total distance  = 828 m +0.95 m

                        =  828.95 m
