Total distance covered = 1km = 100000 cm
No. Of revolution = 500

Circumference of wheel = 100000/500
= 200 cm

Circumference = 200
=> 2*pi *r = 200
=> pi *d = 200
=> d = 200 * 7/22
=> d = 1400/22
=> d = 700/11
=> d = 63.64

Diameter of wheel = 63.64 cm

gaurav2013c: It's in centimetres
gaurav2013c: 1 km = 1000 m
gaurav2013c: 1 km = 1000 * 100 cm
gaurav2013c: 1 km = 100000 cm
rosemoldeepu: Why r we multiplying 100cm
gaurav2013c: To convert it into cm
gaurav2013c: use your common sense the Diameter of wheel is in metres or centimetres
rosemoldeepu: Oh I get it!thx so much teacher
gaurav2013c: Again welcome sister :) :)
rosemoldeepu: 700\11_63.63
