The circumference of = 5000 / 11 km
the wheel will be = 5000 / 11000 m
= 2.2 m

Then,

2\pi \: r = 2.2 \\ 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 2.2 \\  \frac{44}{7}  \times r = 2.2 \\ 44r = 2.2 \times 7 \\ 44r = 15.4 \\ r =  \frac{15.4}{44}  \\  \frac{1}{2} d =  \frac{15.4}{44}  \\ d =  \frac{15.4 \times 2}{44}  \\ d =  \frac{15.4}{22}  \\ d = 0.7
Therefore diameter will be 0.7m or 70cm

Answer:

The diameter is 70 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the radius of the wheel be r cm.

Distance covered by the wheel in one revolution =

5000

11

 km = 220 cm

2πr=220

2×

7

22

×r=220

r=35 cm

Diameter = 2r=70 cm
