first method
5000 revolutions=11000 m
1 revolution=11000/5000 m
circumference=11/5 m
2πr=11/5
πd=11/5
22/7×d=11/5
d=11×7/(5×22)
d=11×7/110
d=7/10 m
d=0.7 m
d=0.7×100 cm
d=70 cm
alternative method
Let the radius of bicycle be 'x' and Distance covered by Bicycle.

Distance covered by Bicycle in 1 Revolution = Distance covered / Total Number of revolution

✒ Distance covered by Bicycle in 1 Revolution = 11/ 5000 km

= 11/5000 × 1000 × 100 cm

= 11/5 × 100 cm

= 11× 20 cm

= 22,0 cm

✍We have Circumference of Circle = 220 cm

✒ Circumference of Circle = πD

✒ Circumference of Circle = 22/7 × D

✒ 22,0 = 22/7 × D

✒ 22,0 × 7 = 22D

✒ 1540 = 22D

✒ Diameter = 70 cm

Therefore, Diameter is 70 cm.

Answer:

The diameter is 70 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the radius of the wheel be r cm.

Distance covered by the wheel in one revolution =

5000

11

 km = 220 cm

2πr=220

2×

7

22

×r=220

r=35 cm

Diameter = 2r=70 cm
