Answer:

In 5000 revolutions, bicycle covers 22km = 22000 m

In 1 revolution the bicycle will cover 22000/5000

= 4.4 m

Distance covered in one revolution = circumference of the wheel = 2πr = 4.4

2πr = 4.4

πr = 4.4/2

r = (2.2/22) × 7

r = 0.1×7 = 0.7 m = 70 cm

Diameter = 2×radius = 2×70 = 140 cm

140 cm is the diameter of the wheel

Answer:

140cm

Step-by-step explanation:

No. of Revolutions =Distance Covered /Circumference

Circumference= Distance Covered / No. of Revolutions

Since, Circumference=2πr, Distance= 22*1000*100 cm

Now,

2*π*r = 2200000 / 5000

On solving we get;

r =70

" Diameter = 2*r

So, Diameter =2*70 = 140cm

Hope it helps,

Have a nice day
