A bidy moves 3 km in east then 5 km in north and again 3km in east. find its distance and displacement

Bird's net displacement will be
$= \sqrt{ 6^{2} + 5^{2} }$
$= \sqrt{ 36 + 25 }$
$= \sqrt{ 61 }$
$=7.81 km$

and the distance will be
$=3+5+3=11km$
