So 2*9x+2*5x=140, the perimeter

=>28x=140

=>x=5

So the length is 9*5 and breadth is 5*5

length=45

breadth=25

Area of the hall=45*25 m^2

Total tiles required =45*25*100*100/(25*20)   converting the numerator from meter to centimeter

=22500 tiles

100 tiles cost Rs 500

So 22500 tiles cost = Rs 22500*500/100

= Rs 122500
