we know that acceleration due to gravity
=). g = GM/R^2 -----------(1)
where M = mass of earth
=) R = radius of earth.
=) G = universal gravitational constant.
from equation ( 1) we can see that acceleration due to gravity does not depend on mass of object , it only depends on the mass and radius of earth.
=) so when small stone and big stone are dropped acceleration of both the stones are same so both reaches the ground at the same time.
