In this question, We will apply the Third equation of Motion :-
=> v^2 = u^2 + 2aS
=> (7.10)^2 = 0 + 2 x a x 35.4
=> 50.41 = 70.8 x a
=> 50.41/70.8 = a
=> a = 0.623886 m/s^2
