Given : a bike covers a certain distance at 30 km per hour it can cover 25 kilometre more at 40 kilometre per hour

To find : how much distance does the bike cover

Solution:

Distance = Speed * Time

Let say Distance = 30D km

Speed = 30 km/hr

Time taken = 30D/30  =  D hr

Distance covered with speed 40 km/hr

= 40 * D

= 40D  km

40D = 30D  + 25

=> 10D = 25

=> 30D = 75

Distance covered = 75 km
