A bike is moving at a speed 20km/h. when brakes applied the bike stops in 4s. Calculate speed after 2s​

Explanation:

the begining velocity,u=20×1000/3600=5.56m/s

last velocity,v=0m/s

time,t=4s

deceleration,a=v-u/t=-20/4=-5m/s^2

so,

speed after 2s would be,v=u+at=20+(-5×2)=20-10=10m/s

speed of the bike after 2s is 10m/s.
