A billiard ball of mass 0.2 kg hits the cushion of a billiard table at right angles with a velocity of 14m/s and rebounds with half the velocity. If the ball is in contact with the cushion for 0.6 S, what is the force exerted by the cushion on the ball?

F =change in movementum /time
F= 0.2*7+ 0.2*14/0.6=0.2*21/0.6=7n
