A bioconvex lens made by glass is kept in air medium.What will be the relationship between its focal length and the radius of curvature?If the same lens will be bisected vertically the what will be its new focal length? if any concave mirror will be immersed in water then what will be the effect in its focal length

From Lens maker's formula,

f1=(μ−1)(R11−R21)

r1=20cm,R2=−R1=−20cm

∴f1=(1.5−1)(201+201)

=0.5(101) or f=20cm
