=======================
Girish Sharma is a disabled badminton player.
He is disabled but he is truly amazing.
He is one-legged badminton champion.
He has only one leg but he ranks no. 2 in both singles and doubles categories for physically-challenged athletes in India.
At the age of two, he lost his one leg in a train accident but this didn't stopped his love for sports.
He never let his disability to become a obstacle to achieve his dreams.
He says, "When I was a child, I used to play Cricket, Football, Badminton with normal children of my age. My disability was nowhere near in my mind. I enjoyed those games as much as a normal person does."
At the national championship for the physically-challenged, he has received 2 gold medals.
After that, He represented India in Israel and Thailand and won 2 silver medals in both singles and doubles.
A gold medal in Paralympics Asia Cup for Disabled is his biggest win till date.
Then after, he won silver-medal in Bangalore in 2011.
He was asked to arrange for Rs 1,70,125 to represent India at an International event. This expense was to be paid by the state government but the shocking truth is that, he receives no monetary help from State Government or Indian Government. His financial position is not so good and still he has to bear all these expenses.
Now, he is 32 but still going hard at his loves.
