Given bird flies north : V 1 = 20m/s for t1= 15sec

distance = 300m [d1]

now d2 = 0 as v2=0 for t2=5s

now V3 = 25m/s for t3=10s

TOTAL DISTANCE = v1t1 +v2t2 +v3t3 = 300m +250m = 550m

total time = 15+5+10 = 30sec

Displacement = d1 - d3 = 300 - 250 = 50 m

Average velocity = 50/30 =1.66m/s

Average acceleration = -1.5m/s2
