apparent speed with respect to fish / actual speed =

refractive index of air / refractive index of water

refractive index of water = 4 / 3

refractive index of air =1

actual speed = 2 m/s

∴apparent speed = 4 / 3 × 2

So the correct answer is 8/3.

Answer:

17 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance of the bird above the sea level=+15m

Distanceofthe bird dives below the sea level =-2m

Total vertical distance the bird travelled=+15-(-2)m

                                                                  =+15+2m

                                                                  =+17m
