Answer:

1.40kg

Explanation: Given,

Momentum=4 .20 kg m/s.

Velocity=3 m/s

Since momentum =mass*Velocity

Or, p=mv

Or, 4.20=3*m

Or, m=4.20/3

Or, m= 1.40

Answer: mass is 1.40 kg.

Given ,

Velocity of bird (v) = 3 m/s

Momentum of bird (P) = 4.20 kg•m/s

We know that ,

The product of mass and velocity is called linear momentum

It is denoted by " P "

Momentum (P) = Mass × Velocity

Thus ,

4.20 = Mass × 3

Mass = 4.20/3

Mass = 1.4 Kg

 \sf \therefore \underline{The \:  mass  \: of \:  bird \:  is \:  1.4\:  kg}
