A bird is in a wire cage hanging from a spring balance. The reading of the balance is taken when the bird flying about in the cage, the when the bird is at rest in the cage. The first reading will be

When the bird is flying in a wire cage, the air pressed by the wings of the bird will go out of cage, hence the spring balance will record less reading.

So, (C) less than the second is the correct answer
