18 kmh while the other has a speed of 27 km hrThe bird starts moving from first car towards the other and is moving with
speed of 36 kmh and when the two cars were separated by 36 km. What is the total distance covered by the bud? What is the
total time for which bird remain in motion? While solving numerical draw proper sketch to discuss the motion...

The speed of car-1 is 18 km/h and the speed of car-2 is 27 km/h. Therefore, the relative speed of the cars = 18+27=45 km/h (since they are moving in opposite direction) The cars are separated by 36 km. So the time taken by the cars to meet is (distance /relative speed) = 36/45 = 4/5 hour. The bird is flying at a speed 36km/h from the first car.

In 4/5 hours the bird will travel 4/5*36=144/5=28.8 km.

Therefore the bird will cover28.8km when the two cars will meet.

Hope it helps you..
