We have given speed=10m/s
direction is (1,-2) to (4,2)
there fore direction will be =(4-1,2+2)=(3,4)
hence the direction of unit vector is (3/5,4/5)
now multiplying by magnitude 10m/s
we get velocity vector as
v=10 * (3/5,4/5)
v=6i+8j this will be the velocity vector

hope it helps...
