The Muscular force exerted by the bird is

m(g+a)=0.1×10 =1N

1kg --weight =9.8N

Hence, 1N=1/9.8kg--weight

Dear Student,

● Answer -

Muscular force exerted by the bird = 1 N

◆ Explanation -

# Given -

m = 0.1 kg

a = 0.2 m/s^2

g = 9.8 m/s^2

# Solution -

When the bird is rising vertically upwards, it have to exert force to neutralize gravity and provide acceleration.

F = m (g + a)

F = 0.1 (9.8 + 0.2)

F = 0.1 × 10

F = 1 N

Hence, the muscular force exerted by the bird is 1 N.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
