hey mate !!

here is your answer !!

in the questions given ,

mass of bird = 500mg

Change in kilograms

500mg = 0.0005kg

velocity = 10m/S

gravity = 10m/s2

height = 20m

here we find potential energy , mechanical energy , kinetic energy.

first we find kinetic energy =

ke = 1/2×mv2

where mass in kg.

 \frac{1}{2} \times 0.0005 \times {10}^{2} \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{0.0005}{10000} \times 100 \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{5}{100} \\ \\ \frac{5}{200} \\ \\ \frac{1}{40} = 0.025j

Kinetic energy = 0.025joule

here we find potential energy = m×g×h

here m = 0.0005kg

g = 10m/s2

h= 10m

PE = m×g×h

PE = 0.0005×10×10

PE = 0.0005×100

PE = \frac{0.0005}{1000} \times 100 \\ \\ \frac{5}{100} \\ \\ 0.05j

potential energy = 0.05joule

here we find mechanical energy.

mechanical energy = potential energy+ kinetic energy

Mechanical energy = 0.025j + 0.05j

ME = 0.075 j.
